Verdict

Barons Spy is a standing dish here but has twice finished last since winning over 7f at Warwick and is still 3lb higher than when second over C&D in June. Falasteen has been showing signs of a revival lately but another recent Milton Bradley acquisition, Prime Exhibit, may not be suited by this drop in distance as all of his wins have come over 7f. Knocker Knowles won over 5f here at the start of last month but was then last when favourite at Folkestone while School Fees let supporters down at Nottingham last time after winning over C&D in July. FANROUGE can be forgiven her run in the Shergar Cup at Ascot as she was taking on decent company that day. She'd been in fair form earlier and has already won four times here so gets the nod to add to that tally.
