Verdict

Most are pretty exposed and these low-grade sprinters tend to take it in turns to get on the scoresheet. A number will require things to fall just right but SPRAY TAN does go well here with three course and distance wins to her name and gets on well with regular pilot George Downing who claims a handy 3lb which can often prove vital in sprint handicaps. Her last run when third at Wolverhampton was solid enough and she should give us a run for our money. Presto Boy ties in closely with the selection on running earlier in the season and could be of interest off a decent mark towards the foot of the weights. He remains a maiden though and it will be interesting to see how he goes for 7lb claimer, David Egan. Jaganory went close here on a couple of occasions last term and a repeat of that level would see him involved, whilst John Joiner, another who is still a maiden, has shown a liking in the past for this track.
