      Verdict

      A drop back to 6f and the fitting of a hood did the trick for Dance Band at Kempton but she only won by half-a-length and is 4lb higher back on Turf. There is also a doubt about the headgear working a second time and the improving ATALANTE looks a viable alternative. Andrew Balding's maiden steps into a handicap for the first time on a fair mark following her third at Yarmouth. Go Amber Go was in very good form in this grade last month but all of her form is over 5f. Babyfact, however, has now won three times over this course and distance, though never off a mark this high.
