Verdict

Richard Hughes boasts a terrific strike rate at this track and has a ride in every race this afternoon. He partners Ground Control for Richard Hannon in this opener but others might have stronger pedigrees. Roger Charlton's filly Oriental Grace should win races but we prefer the claims of Brian Meehan's two runners. TAKE THE HELM, the mount of Hayley Turner, gets the nod ahead of stablemate Captain Thunderbolt, though will have to overcome a wide draw. Rampers may be the best of those with experience but that's not saying much.
