Verdict

Question marks over most of these but a chance is taken with SOHAR who spent most of last season campaigning in much better contests, ending with a first and deserved career success in a Class 3 Newmarket staying handicap. Richard Hughes is booked so hopefully connections mean business despite her 185-day absence and she can concede the weight to her rivals, of which Sir Frank Morgan makes most appeal. Three Wolverhampton successes have come the way of the Johnston inmate this year and he wasn't disgraced last time in a decent Musselburgh handicap. With fitness assured, he rates an obvious danger. The Quarterjack is unproven at this trip whilst Jamie Spencer is a noteworthy booking on Arty Campbell for Bernard Llewellyn.
