In depth

Verdict

DESPERATE DAN eneters this seller in fine form and is taken to win again at the expense of Dressed To Dance and Rockfield Lodge. The selection has won three times this spring in selling and claiming races. He was not discredited in a handicap at Wolverhampton last time out when finishing a good second and being a multiple course and distance winner in the past he ticks more boxes than most of his rivals. Dressed To Dance landed a hat-trick of wins last June before the handicapper got a hold of him. He has run well in defeat of late and now dropped in grade he warrants respect. Rockfield Lodge won in this grade last summer and had his first run for his new connections at Kempton last time out. He finished mid field that day but is dropped back into this selling grade once again so any market moves should be noted.
