Heaven drops back to the minimum trip here after a very encouaging seasonal debut at Bath and is certainly the one to beat here. Peter Makin's filly got off the mark at this venue on her final start last season and appears the sole horse in the contest who could progress to a rating well in excess of today's handicap mark. A stall five draw is ideal too and as she has plenty of toe, her rider can bounce her out on the pace. Allium makes her seasonal debut here after three maiden outings, not void of promise but certainly nothing to get too excited about. The market should speak with regard to what is expected but if she is a filly with any amount of ability she should be capable of getting involved off a lowly rating of 50. Second Opinion showed some promise in all-weather maidens but her ability to see out even the minimum trip is the concern. Other possibles for the shortlist Acclimate and Rathmolyon who appears to reserve her best for this track but Heaven is the nomination to land the finale.
