In depth
Verdict
Fairy Monarch will find this company more to his liking, after facing some stiff tests of late. All at sea on the soft ground at Newmarket last time, behind subsequent winner Mamounia, he will be better suited to the faster conditions here. Jewel Of India, a progressive colt, didn't have much luck in running last time and can be forgiven that effort. The disappointing Sholay, from the same family as the useful sprinter Splice, isn't guaranteed to be suited by this trip, while the in-form Eagles High, may find this ground to fast for him. All In All, a half-sister to the useful Kissogram, tackles handicap company for the first time and is worthy of respect, but the vote goes to Better Pal, who will be more at home over this trip, after failing to stay at Newmarket last time.
