      Verdict

Byefornow gained his only success over the minimum here and her yard is in top form. Exceed has improved with every run and only just failed to get up over the minimum when beaten a short-head at Southwell on Tuesday. MA FAMILLE is another making progress and she was always in the front rank when runner-up at Kempton in February. The winner has won subsequently and is rated 70 so Clive Cox' filly looks well treated. Richard Fahey sends Captain Dandy on the long journey from North Yorkshire and the Wolverhampton winner should make a bold bid to defy a 6lb rise. Lukla is another long-range raider who showed plenty of potential on Turf last season but Regal Glory, a winner over 7f at Lingfield, could find this on the short side.
