      Verdict

      Oriental Girl rates as a good value option in a race of this nature and is selected ahead of Sarah Park and Desioderio. The last named has gone up the ratings without winning and looks harshly assessed at present. The state of the ground (good to soft at the time of writing) is also a worry for the top weight. Sarah Park has steadily improved and seems to be getting the hang of things these days. However, she looked held by her revised mark last time out and now has something to prove. Stage Acclaim is also worth a mention, as he won in good style on soft ground at Lingfield on his penultimate outing. Still, he also appears to be weighted to the hilt and needs luck on his side. Therefore, we turn to Oriental Girl, who still has the scope for improvement from her current mark. The Dr Fong filly has proven ability to cope with most types of ground and, as she appears to be getting better with each run, Oriental Girl is fancied to take the beating in this company.
