Verdict

The bottom three are out of the handicap whilst Lady D's Rock hasn't been seen since January when last of nine on the all-weather and is therefore best watched for now. Captain Oats, well into the veteran stage at the ripe old age of 13, is another who may need the run after an absence dating back to early September, although his sole success in 43 starts came here. Hermosa Vaquera hasn't been seen on the level since last October but has gone well over timber in both starts this year, including when scoring at Plumpton. Her chance is respected, especially if conditions stay quick. Diletta Tommasa hasn't been running too badly and will be aided by Paddy Bradley's claim and Tamujin has a chance at his best. All of which leaves course and distance winner DOCTOR KEHOE, who has delivered some solid runs around this track, sits on a fair mark after a decent effort latest and has the stylish Shane Kelly in the plate.
