Edged Out goes well here but usually at a lower level while Stocking's only victory to date came at Wolverhampton and she's been looking a few pounds high. Pixeleen has won two Class 5 handicaps but has performed with credit at a higher level and is one for the short-list as is Lead A Merry Dance, who has a very similar profile. Star Fire is closely matched with Pixeleen on their 1-2 at Salibury in June but Effusive disappointed when favourite on soft ground at Nottingham while Ruby's Day was beaten a long way when runner-up at Pontefract. It's over a year since CLOUDS REST won a race but she's been performing in better company and, with her rider's 5lb claim to aid her cause, is taken to get back on the winning trail.
