Verdict
Global Prospector bids for a hat-trick raised 9lb having won easily at Yarmouth last time but both Gilt Edge and Sarah's Verse were beaten attempting to land a treble on their latest starts. Lockdown won a lower grade sprint at Kempton recently and it was firm going when The Cruising Lord scored over track and trip last month. But there was some cut in the ground when CENTURION SONG (NAP) won here last week and he gets another chance having subsequently failed to get a clear run at Chester four days ago.
