In depth

Verdict

Fast ground suits recent Newbury winner Tell William but he is worse off at the weights than when beaten by Secret Return over course and distance two runs ago. The third that day, MR TYRRELL, has a great chance to reverse that form with the two ahead of him so gets the vote but Balgair looks a danger on his latest third at Newmarket and Sir Plato has won twice at Chepstow this year and is another previous course and distance winner. Swift Approval rarely runs two races alike nowadays, however.
