Verdict
Batik gave an encouraging performance last time and looks set to land this prize from Go Supersonic and Tenny's Gold. Luca Cumani's filly ran incredibly well at Sandown as she lost 5 lengths or so at the start and trailed the field until making very good headway up the inside rail inside the last two furlongs. In the end she was only a length behind the winner Liberty Flag and is certain to go close here. Go Supersonic is a half sister to Oaks winner Lady Carla so is sure to improve for the step up in distance following a promising Sandown debut. Tenny's Gold has gone close against some decent opposition this season and should again be in the firing line. In quite a tricky heat Principessa and Uig are also worthy of a mention, but Batik really caught the eye on her debut and is a confident choice.
