In depth
Verdict
Dijeer can return with a bang to beat Gravitas, Smart Enough and Jack Sullivan. Dijeer left Michael Jarvis after landing the Horris Hill at Newbury last October, and was pitched in at the deep end on his debut for Godolphin, tackling top opponents in the French 2,000 Guineas back in May. Down the field at Longchamp, he has been given plenty of time to recover, and should outclass his rivals if anywhere near fit. Stablemate Gravitas was Listed-class for Andre Fabre, but has yet to impress in the blue silks, and does not make as much appeal, so a bigger danger may well be Smart Enough who is surely better than his last of 11 in a French Group 2 indicates. Jack Sullivan hails from a stable that is finally getting its act together again, and he can go well, but Dijeer has the class to come out on top.
