        Verdict

        Simbirsk scored over track and trip last week but is penalised and runner-up Champs De Reves may well turn the tables on better terms. Zephyros finished further behind Simbirsk but Francophilia was beaten only a length over a longer trip here a fortnight ago and can figure. UTHER PENDRAGON is a rare winner but has slipped down the weights this year and wasn’t beaten far when fourth at Wolverhampton last week. Stan Moore’s charge drops down a grade today and may prove good enough given Lingfield winner Amaretto disappointed at Windsor last time.
