Verdict
Plenty of possibles if not too many probables and the narrow vote goes to Double Attack ahead of Quick Sands. The selection, at first glance, hasn't really appeared to have gone on since making a winning debut at Hamilton. That was impressive but having been allotted a mark of 83 for his nursery bow he then ran two shockers. Now dropped to a mark of 75, he is fancied to regain the winning thread, especially as he may not have been suited by Chester's unique track last time out. This doesn't look a strong race, and his main competition may come from Quick Sands. Although Richard Hannon's charge is yet to win in six starts he has produced a steady, if unspectacular level of form. Lille Tuva and Neve Lieve are two who may perform better now in nursery company, whilst Tamara Moon is yet to really prove his effectiveness on quick ground. A poor race, and top-weight Double Attack gets our vote.
