Verdict
An apprentice handicap to round off the card and Matterofact is purely a speculative selection to land it. Malcolm Saunders' charge missed the break last time so taking that into consideration it was not a bad performance from this mare who is now 3lb lower after that outing. Memphis Man comes here on the back of a Haydock victory achieved in bottomless ground. He revels in the mud and is a leading contender here. Harrison's Flyer has slipped down the ratings as a result of the horror run being enjoyed by the Milton Bradley yard. Desperate Dan is competitive off his current mark and was a course and distance winner last time. He is another to consider but Matterofact is the pick.
