      Verdict

      Grisons failed to fulfil expectations recently when only third of seven in a far from competitive Windsor maiden but still looks the one to beat on a pure form basis as he finished a length clear of MOFAAJI when the pair clashed at Windsor in late June. Both were making their respective debuts that day and the Crisford inmate was strongly supported into favouritism. He has subsequently been gelded and may only require a small degree of improvement to turn the form around. The remainder look up against it with Excelinthejungle suggested as next best after showing a little ability on debut a week ago.
