In depth
Verdict
City Walk and Sir Oliver were both well beaten in a tougher sprint at Ascot last month with the former preferred of that pair. But SHOOT TO KILL won a maiden by a wide-margin over 5f here in first-time cheekpieces and can go in again. Vandad went close over 6f at Chelmsford a fortnight ago but Newyorkstateofmind was well beaten on Turf having won at Kempton earlier and Lingfield winner Heer We Go Again struggled in this higher grade at Haydock last time.
