          Verdict

          In a race which may not be as competitive as the numbers suggest, Border Edge and Tuscarora may once again fight out the finish, with the latter just fancied to reverse the tables. These two locked horns over course and distance a fortnight ago, with Border Edge just prevailing by a short head, and In Xanadu well behind. Tuscarora started slowly on that occasion, and with a slightly better start here, may just be able to get her head in front on a pound better terms. Both horses have been fairly reliable of late, which is more than can be said for the majority of their rivals here. Adobe shaped well when fourth on his reappearance at Warwick. He should come on for that run and is reasonably treated at the weights, so can also be expected to play a prominent role.
