Ellen's Girl was good value for her win at Chepstow on Thursday evening, when scoring by four lengths and is taken to defy her 6lb penalty for that success, getting the verdict ahead of Iolanthe and Magical Music. The last mentioned is capable of taking a hand in the finish and lost no caste in defeat when a close third at Nottingham last time but she is not the most consistent of performers and is hard to back with any confidence. Top weight Celtic Spa has rather harshly been raised 2lbs since her latest start, while Cat Six is less exposed than most but is another that looks to be to high in the weights for what she has achieved. The form of Iolanthe's latest start was boosted by the winner Uig earlier this week and Brian Meehan's filly has to be respected but it is hard to get away from Ellen's Girl, who is given the vote.
