        Verdict

        Cesar Manrique is steadily getting the hang of this game and can put his experience to good use to beat Gimasha and Befitting. This Barry Hills trained son of Vettori wasn't beaten far behind Henry Candy's smart looking Seamus Shindig at Pontefract last time, just tiring in final 100 yards. He will be much more at home over this easier track and can gain a deserved first win. Gimasha takes a step down in trip after being bullied out of it in the closing stages by Nota Bene at Windsor, and with the stable in such hot form he will be a big danger to the selection. Jamie Osborne's juveniles are going well at present so any market move for his Inchinor newcomer Befitting should be heeded. The best of the others could be Auwitesweetheart, but Cesar Manrique appears to have the best overall form and is given the vote.
