Verdict

Digital, Caustic Wit and Summer Recluse are the three that catch the eye and we shall take a speculative wager about Digital. The Mick Channon stalwart has been in good form of late and having taken some time to get his head infront, his latest start at Leicester should be ignored as he got no run from the stalls. Effective on all types of going, he has much more going for him than most and he is likely to be sent off at a fair price. Caustic Wit has been the model of consistency but the handicapper has also noted it. A claimer is put aboard to reduce the weight but he seems fated to find one too good again. Summer Recluse won this race last year but would not appreciate any rain. Misaro has been expensive to follow but his recent form does not fully tell the tale and as he has handled pretty much any extreme of going in the past, he should not be discounted. Atlantic Viking won his first race for Dandy Nicholls since racing over in Spain. David Evans was quick to claim the 11-year-old and connections will be hoping for a quick return upon their investment. Willhewiz can be expected to make a swift break from the start but is difficult to win with. Kallista's Pride and Parkside Pursuit are both previous course-and-distance winners and they should be watched to see if the market speaks in their favour. A competitive handicap in which backers should watch the weather before placing their bets. Digital looks to have more positives than most and we are prepared to support him at the likely odds.
