In depth

Uther Pendragon debuted in a Class 2 conditions race here a week ago and should find this easier. He’s preferred to David Evans’ duo but a newcomer may prove good enough with MUTANAASEQ making most appeal of them. The latter’s half-brother made a winning start over track and trip and Richard Hannon’s colt is taken to do the same. Big Time Maybe is related to the useful sprinter Angelic Lord and is another to consider along with Diamond Dougal.

Big Time Maybe (IRE) Dandy Man colt out of Divine Design.

Diamond Dougal (IRE) Zebedee colt out of Blue Saphire.

Give Em A Clump (IRE) 13-2 (9-2) Slowly into stride, outpaced, 9th of 11, 14l behind Rock of Estonia (9-2) at Windsor 5f stks (5) gd in Apr.

Mirek (IRE) Zebedee gelding out of My Trust.

Mutanaaseq (IRE) Red Jazz colt out of Indaba.

Uther Pendragon (IRE) 66-1 (9-2) Soon behind, hanging right over 2f out, well beaten over 1f out, kept on inside final furlong, 6th of 11, 5 1/2l behind Chagatai (9-2) at Bath 5f stks (2) fm in Apr.

Storm Doris (IRE) Lilbourne Lad filly out of Big Sylv.

Tie Em Up Tel (IRE) 16-1 (9-2) Pressed leader when ran wide bend after 1f, tracked leaders until ran very wide bend into straight, virtually pulled up, last of 7, 23 1/4l behind Corinthia Knight (9-2) at Lingfield 5f stks (5) pol in Apr.
