PETALUMA split a pair of much higher rated horses when third in a conditions race at Pontefract last time. She was second in a better handicap than this at Yarmouth before that and gets the nod racing off the same mark here. Filatore scored over C&D recently and is another with claims, despite a 5lb rise, while Authentication may also figure stepped back up in trip. Annaluna has won over hurdles since finishing runner-up here last month and Maria Letizia is not easily overlooked attempting 2m for the first time.
