    Verdict

Dunn'o is hard to oppose and gets a confident nomination to rid himself of the maiden tag. Rathmoloyon and Whiskey Junction are obvious dangers, while Asian Lady ran a fair race on her reappearance and can also make an impact in a contest heavy with deadwood. Now that she has the benefit of a seasonal run behind her, Roger Charlton's charge is one to serious consider if the market vibes are positive about her. Whiskey Junction also caught the eye when he was last seen out but has obviously suffered a setback in the intervening period. However, it can be considered significant that his connections are persevering with him as a four-year-old, so money for Andrew Balding's charge is dismissed at your own peril. Rathmoloyon has shown a liking for this course and, on these terms, she has a feasible chance if she is cherry ripe for her first start for 197 days. The booking of Richard Quinn is noteworthy and Derek Hayden-Jones' filly could be the surprise package of the race. However, from a rating of 81, it is very difficult to look beyond Dunn'o in terms of the official ratings. The three-year-old would be conceding upwards of 8lbs were this handicap, so this appears to be a strategic piece of placement to aid the son of Cape Cross get a confidence boosting win under his belt.
