In depth

Verdict

Wilfred Pickles has won just the once since 2011 and that was on the Polytrack. Pick A Little has been more prolific, but also on the all-weather, though he did win here as three-year-old. Carrera had Lutine Charlie a long way behind on the Turf at Lingfield last time but is upped 6lb and STORMBOUND is preferred. The latter was only beaten a nose at Kempton on his return and can go one better in this uninspiring opener.
