In depth

Verdict

Do More Business has been knocking on the door for some time and few would begrudge Liam Corcoran's six-year-old a moment of glory, but placing sentiment aside, we'll stick with DEVON DIVA. John Gallagher's mare served notice when shaded a head at odds of 50/1 here in June and those that took the hint were rewarded when she subsequently made all over course and distance. Crucis Abbey is still a maiden on turf but he has won twice on the Polytrack at Wolverhampton this year. Squirrel Wood went close at Brighton off today's mark while Supa Seeker recently lost his maiden tag at Warwick before finding 7f at Salisbury too sharp. Marmalady is watched in the market on her first run in a handicap.
