In depth
Verdict
In a competitive contest Devise is the selection ahead of Further Outlook and Dancing Mystery. A winner at Southwell and Salisbury this year, Dancing Mystery has been running very well of late without getting her head in front. The epitome of consistency, she has finished within four lengths of the winner in each of her last seven starts and chased home Strawberry Patch at Newbury and Further Outlook at Kempton in decent events. Twice a winner at Kempton this year, Further Outlook is in great heart at the advancing age of ten. He must go well here and we expect him to play a major role. But for the selection we turn to Devise. A winner at Kempton and Bath earlier in the season he has been running well recently, chasing home the prolific Smokin¿ Beau on two separate occasions. There is no Smokin¿ Beau here and Devise is the selection.
