    Verdict

    Like the first race on today's card, this also features two-year-olds stepping up in trip with a Mark Johnston-trained runner having leading claims. This time it's the newcomer PHYLLIS MAUD who should make a bold bid as she's a half-sister to stablemate Hartnell, a Group 3 winner over 1m2f. Maxwell should also stay the distance having made a modest debut over a mile at Salisbury but it's hard to make a case for the remaining trio on what little they've shown so far.
