Verdict
Mirant should have learnt a bit from his debut run in a decent looking Newmarket maiden and is entitled to go close here. But it would be dangerous to rule out Rahwaan, who is slightly more experienced and should appreciate the step up in trip. However, as usual the betting ring will provide the biggest clues with regard to the newcomers and a cautious stance should be taken. Epicentre did not look to be anything out of the ordinary in his two outings last term, but the son of Kris hails from a yard that is flying at the moment and he merits consideration on his stable¿s form alone.
