In depth
Verdict
A race that lacks strength in depth and it's hard to look beyond Starlight Night and Grain Of Gold. The latter is bred in the purple being a daughter of Mr Prospector out of Irish and Yorkshire Oaks heroine Pure Grain but looks nothing out of the ordinary judged on her efforts to date and looks worth opposing in the first-time visor so TEAMtalk preference is for Starlight Night. Amanda Perrett's three-year-old ran an eye-catching race on her belated debut over this course and distance earlier in the month. The Distant View filly showed signs of greeness but stayed on willingly in the closing stages to suggest that a race of this nature is well within her compass. Dramraire Mist showed some ability on her latest start and looks best of the remainder.
