A big field of inexperienced riders is a potential minefield for punters but we should get a run for our money out of Noel Meade's JACK SLADE, who ran his best race so far when second at Down Royal. He only has a pound more to carry here and Jonathan Moore's claim takes care of that. Grey Mountain Mist has had a couple of months off but has each-way claims if fully wound-up and Maighnealta won at Downpatrick before clipping heels and coming down when favourite at that track in May. Brave Love was much-improved at Clonmel last time but needs one to come out to get a run under Shane Shortall.
