Verdict

Diamond Hill made a successful Flat debut on soft ground at Galway in August but has disappointed in four starts over timber. Party Playboy has never won on the level but arrives in top form having beaten a big field of hurdlers at Down Royal last month. Take A Turn completed a double over timber in the spring and reverts to the Flat on a lowly mark but Venezia is 9lb higher than his last winning mark. Edward O'Grady's grey was four lengths behind Kerosin at Navan and, though better off at the weights, the winner can confirm the form. Construct has never been this far but has always looked like a stayer so should give a good account but Ted Walsh won this last year and has booked Derek O'Connor for HOT BEAT, who was having his first start since 2017 when third under the leading amateur at Listowel last month.
