In depth

Verdict

Gavin Cromwell won this last year and Toosey can revert to hurdles on an 11lb lower mark after scoring over fences at Wexford. The stable also run Aasleagh Dawn, who couldn't quite concede 12lb to Brogine over this trip at Limerick and has gone up 3lb. Ozzie's Way showed his liking for this trip when battling on at Down Royal and a 5lb rise shouldn't pose too much of a problem. Cecil Corbett returned from a break to land a Roscommon handicap chase last month and is 14lb lower over hurdles while City Hall is one to keep an eye on from the bottom of the weights. DONA KATHARINA landed a Tramore maiden before attempting to make all over 3m1f at Kilbeggan where she was headed at the last. She makes her handicap debut from a fair mark and could be good enough in a very tight handicap.
