In depth

Verdict

The last success of PIRES was over 2m1f here a year ago and he's disappointed on several occasions but he's very well in here under the race conditions and should return to winning ways. Catch The Moment had three lengths to spare over Paddy The Celeb when gaining a shock victory at Galway. He should just about come out on top again but Duc De Savoie may prove a bigger threat. Dermot Weld's charge has nowhere near fulfilled his potential but his overall form puts him right in the frame for this. Wetherby Maiden hurdle winner Delphi Mountain may prove best of the remainder.
