Verdict

Winning bumper HILLTOP TOMMY jumped moderately when runner-up to Flatfoot Boogie at Cork where he looked in need of a longer trip, which he'll get here. He'll have been given plenty of schooling and can go one better. The Shaughraun was a couple of lengths back in third that day and there shouldn't be much between them again while winning point-to-pointer and bumper Minella For Value returns from a spell over fences and will be suited by this stamina test. Tapaigh An Deis ran a shocker on soft ground at Sligo but did much better on fast going at Kilbeggan earlier and would have an obvious chance providing the ground remains quick.
