Verdict

Royal Aide has won on the Flat here and makes his handicap debut over hurdles having won a Sligo maiden over this trip earlier this month. Mister Fogpatches stays well and will enjoy the conditions and ran well after an absence at Ballinrobe so has to be on the shortlist. FREEWHEELIN DYLAN has progressed into a smart chaser with a rating of 140. He was expected to make a 27lb lower hurdles mark count at Roscommon but fell at the third last when disputing the lead. Compensation awaits here though the likes of Gunfire Reef and Lord Lariat have been in good form and have to be considered in an open handicap.
