Verdict

Jody Townend can steer MY FRIEND AOIFE to victory as her mount didn't get the run of the race when a close fourth at Sligo where she wasn't beaten far. Scotsman's Bay was beaten a long way into third at Kilbeggan but that was his first start for almost a year so he'll be better for the run. Auntie Mary, a winner between the flags, made her Rules debut at Perth where she chased home the long odds-on Braid Blue so she's likely to provide a threat while Gavin Cromwell's newcomer Trixie Mc, who is by Yeats out of a winning French hurdler, is one to note in the market.
