    Verdict

Tidal Way went close at Folkestone last week, though a wide draw doesn't help his cause here. There should be more to come from Elkhart after his third at Newmarket, however. BADEA was doing all his best work in the closing stages when fourth over today's trip at Musselburgh last time and the stiff finish here will play to his strengths. Richard Fahey's colt gets the nod over some interesting newcomers that include Clare Island Boy, who has a high draw to contend with, and Saffa Hill, who has plenty of speed on his dam's side. Daring Damsel is related to a couple of winners in America and is another to note.
