        Verdict

        Mariners Moon scored over 7f here in May but is 9lb higher on his return while Porthos Du Vallon has been well beaten since winning at Hamilton last month. There's little between Eddie Maurice and Kalahari Kingdom on collateral form having both beaten the same horse when winning at Thirsk and Nottingham respectively while Street Boss is another to consider having tumbled down the weights. But a speculative vote goes to THIS IS THE DAY on her third for the Haggas yard at Lingfield last season and having only her second start for a new trainer in this.
