Verdict
EQUIANO SPRINGS has shown plenty of early pace over 6f and was narrowly beaten at Ripon last month. This stiff 5f should suit Tom Tate’s charge and he gets the vote. Rapid Ranger is closely matched with the selection on handicap ratings but is having his first start since November and Jeany also returns to action having placed on all three occasions she raced here last year. The remainder are harder to fancy though Fille The Force and Flying Foxy may well improve.
