Verdict
Captain Scooby would prefer some cut in the ground and Kakapuka has been better over 6f so far. Highland Warrior may need at least another run to put him spot on, while Red Roar has a bad draw to contend with. Lucky Art comes out the better of Clear Ice judged on their recent form on the all-weather and should figure but the vote goes to CARANBOLA. He was beaten only a length on his reappearance in a better race at Ripon and is only 3lb higher than when winning the last leg of a double at this track in August.
