      Verdict

      MULTI GRAIN ended her first campaign with a victory over an extended 7f here in September. She's by Sir Percy so should be even better suited by today's trip and can make a winning return to action. Vale Of Iron had raced exclusively on Polytrack before a very good run at Haydock last month and should be in the mix but Multellie hasn't run since October and could just need the outing. Diatomic has yet to win but is 10lb lower than when starting in handicaps and must have some sort of chance.
