    Verdict

Brian Ellison had three winners here on Saturday, two of them ridden by Dane O'Neill, who takes the ride on NIKNAD here. The lightly-raced filly has taken time to find her form but gave supporters of the long odds-on Alcaeus a fright at Hamilton and the winner has since completed a hat-trick in better company. Portrait is taking a typical Sir Mark Prescott route in that she had three juvenile runs to get a handicap mark and now runs over a suitable trip. She's bred for this distance so a market watch is advised. Lexi's Dancer is a half-sister to five winners and, after three progressive runs this season, looks ready to make her mark in handicaps. She looks certain to go well while Tahaf could be capable of better as he hasn't looked suited to testing ground in his most recent runs.
