In depth

Verdict

JAMIL (NAP), who won over hurdles at Newcastle last month, has a 4lb penalty for an easy victory over this trip at Catterick last week but will be very difficult to beat in that kind of form. Scheggi arrives from France where he scored on very testing ground in November while Colinton's four career victories have all been on Tapeta. Can Can Girl won over 1m2f here last May but is 10lb higher following very consistent form on the all-weather. Carrigillihy completed a double over the trip last summer and is well handicapped if ready after his break while Lord Torranaga is always likely to pop up at this level though he pulled up over hurdles at Sedgefield last month.
