Verdict
A cautious approach is advised as all have probably been prepared with a nursery campaign in mind. However, CLODOVEA went well in a similar contest a week ago, staying on to good effect at the end of 6f on soft ground in a style indicating this step-up in trip could be just what she requires. On The River showed a glimmer of form in a decent Haydock novice last time but will need to settle better to get home here and Do It Today may prove a likelier threat if repeating the best of her four starts. albeit over shorter trips. The Moore team had a nice 2-y-o winner at Newbury last week and Madame Mango didn't run too badly for the yard in a Leicester seller recently.
