In depth

Verdict

Osmosis is of interest off topweight as he had useful form in the context of this race when trained in Ireland by Ger Lyons last season and shaped with promise on his first start for new connections this term. He should be competitive but the concern is he's yet to tackle soft ground. Fenjal was in good heart last season when with Hugo Palmer but is another unproven on the forecast ground having moved to the Kellaway team. Beaufort is respected as he has soft ground form as a juvenile and Highwaygrey should also be kept on the right side but is another unproven on the expected conditions. So the choice is FIREWATER, who made a solid return to action last month. looks feasibly treated and performed well on ground with cut in his juvenile campaign.
